Assam: Controversy Erupts Over Missing Flood Relief Materials in Karimganj

Guwahati, 27th June: A fresh controversy has arisen in Karimganj, Assam, amidst ongoing disputes over the distribution of flood relief materials. Reports indicate that 144 sacks of cow fodder intended for cattle affected by the floods have mysteriously disappeared, raising concerns about the mismanagement of relief supplies during the crisis.

The animal feed, which was allocated for flood-stricken areas, vanished without a trace, leading to allegations of misappropriation. Local residents, already grappling with the havoc caused by the floods, have expressed frustration over the recurring incidents of relief materials going missing.
