Guwahati: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan among four others were arrested in connection with the discovery of suspected heroin in Nagaon district of Assam.
According to reports, the Nagaon Police seized 18.14 grammes of narcotics.
The police apprehended a CRPF jawan in connection with the seizure, identified as Subrata Bhatta.
Subrata Bhatta is a constable at camp 34 BNC RPF.
Meanwhile, four others were apprehended along Bhatta who have been identified as Sahidul Rahman, Safikul Rahman, Phurkhan Ali, Fakruddin.
Moreover, the authorities took five mobile phones and one vehicle from their possession.
