Assam: CRPF Jawan Found Dead in Hailakandi Orphanage Camp
Guwahati, 13th April: In a tragic incident, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was found dead in Assam’s Hailakandi district on April 13.
The incident took place at an orphanage camp at Panchgram in Hailakandi district.
The deceased jawan has been identified as 57-year-old Badeshwar Rai.
Rai, who was on duty at the camp, was found with fatal injuries, allegedly from a gunshot wound inflicted by his service weapon.
Preliminary investigations conducted by a five-member police team suggest the possibility of suicide as the cause of Rai’s death.
However, the exact circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident remain shrouded in mystery.
Rai’s body has been transported to the Kalinagar Sarojini Primary Hospital for further examination and forensic analysis.
Additional police personnel, including sub-police from Hailakandi, have been deployed to the scene to conduct thorough investigations and ascertain the truth behind this tragic loss.
