Guwahati, 19th September: In a case of daylight robbery in Assam, two bike-borne miscreants mugged a delivery boy from a logistics company and fled with valuable goods. The incident occurred in Doom Dooma, located in Assam’s Tinsukia district.
According to sources, the miscreants threatened the delivery boy with a sharp object and forcibly took cash and parcel boxes from him. The stolen parcels contained valuable items, including a mobile phone.
The perpetrators arrived on a motorcycle and intercepted the delivery boy, during which they carried out the robbery. Another delivery boy in the vicinity attempted to intervene but was attacked in the process. He sustained minor injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Following the incident, the victim delivery boy, identified as Roshan Toti, filed a complaint at the local police station, leading to an ongoing investigation into the matter.
