Guwahati, 3rd May: A tragic fire engulfed the Poyrang area of Boko, causing property damage estimated at over 5 lakh rupees in a devastating turn of events. The fire, whose cause is yet to be determined, sparked panic among local residents.
Efforts to contain the blaze involved a collaborative response from local residents, the fire brigade, and the Boko police, who worked together to prevent further destruction. Fortunately, a family narrowly escaped the flames, which are suspected to have originated in Satish Rabha’s grocery shop, leading to substantial financial losses.
State fire brigade personnel, aided by two vehicles, successfully extinguished the fire, mitigating the extent of the damage. Investigations into the incident are ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding the fire outbreak.
