Assam: Dhubri Mark the 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervor
Guwahati: Assam’s Dhubri joined the nation in celebrating the 76th Republic Day with a grand event at the Dhubri Raja Prabhat Chandra Baruah Playground.
The event paid homage to the sacrifices of those who fought for India’s freedom. Students from various schools participated in a march and gathered at the venue to honor the occasion.
Dhubri District Commissioner Dibakar Nath formally hoisted the national flag at 9 am, receiving salutes from police, paramilitary forces, and other contingents. The event showcased a strong sense of unity and pride among the attendees.
Meanwhile, Kokrajhar also observed the day with patriotic enthusiasm. The central celebration, organized by the district administration, took place at the Kokrajhar Government Higher Secondary and Multipurpose Ground.
Bodoland Territorial Council (BTR) Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro hoisted the national flag at 9 am, marking the occasion with pride and commemorating the spirit of the Republic.
Both events reflected the unwavering patriotism and unity of the people in Assam as they came together to honor the country’s democratic heritage.
