Guwahati, September 7 – Dhubri police have arrested a man named Jamal from Kalirkhali in Chapor last night on charges of promoting false information. Jamal is accused of spreading misleading claims about a leak in the ADRE (Assam Direct Recruitment Examination) recruitment exam paper via Facebook.
The arrest followed a comprehensive investigation that identified Jamal as the source of the unfounded rumors about the ADRE exam paper. He has been charged with disseminating false information that could disrupt the examination process.
Authorities are conducting a detailed investigation to determine any further implications of Jamal’s actions.
