Assam: E-rickshaw hit by speeding dumper in Baksa, driver injured
Guwahati, 18th March: In Baksa along the Manas-Barpeta road, a collision between a vegetable-laden e-rickshaw and a speeding dumper resulted in the injury of one person. The incident unfolded when the dumper, reportedly moving at high speed, crashed into the e-rickshaw, critically injuring Mizanur Ali, the driver from North Safakamara.
Ali, suffering from grave injuries, was promptly rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention. The collision has left locals infuriated, highlighting their frustration with the recurring problem of dumpers using the route without proper regulation.
Public grievances regarding the reckless behavior of dumpers on this route have persisted for a considerable period, yet concrete solutions have remained elusive. In the aftermath of the accident, law enforcement swiftly intervened to maintain order and calm the mounting tension among the agitated crowd.
