Guwahati, 2nd February: In yet another shocking incident, an official of Oil India Limited (OIL) allegedly committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Duliajan in Dibrugarh district of Assam.
The person has been identified as Akashdeep Sharma, an oil engineer.
As per sources, Akashdeep found hanging in residence number DX 14 inside the Oil India Limited Campus
Upon receiving information, Duliajan police administration and the officer of Tengakhat Circle Office reached the spot and initiated a thorough investigation into the incident.
However, the motive behind his drastic step is yet to be ascertained.
It needs to mention that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
Akashdeep Sharma was a resident of Bihar.
