Guwahati: The Directorate General Re-settlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, is set to host a job fair for ex-servicemen (ESM) in Guwahati on February 7, 2025.
The event will be held at Brahmaputra Hall, Narangi Military Station, with the goal of connecting job seekers with potential employers and providing ex-servicemen a second chance to reintegrate into the workforce.
The registration for all ex-servicemen will take place from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the venue. ESM candidates are required to bring their ESM identity card and five copies of their latest CV or bio-data, including a photograph.
The job fair will feature multiple employment opportunities across various sectors, allowing ex-servicemen to be interviewed and screened for roles such as senior supervisors, mid/senior-level managers, strategic planners, and project directors.
This initiative is aimed at easing the recruitment process and offering ESM candidates a seamless path to secure employment in a range of industries.
