Guwahati, 19th September: A tragic incident of murder has rocked Sivasagar district, where a father fatally stabbed his 28-year-old son in a fit of rage. The father, identified as Ramen Barua, admitted to killing his son after years of frustration over his son’s repeated drunken behavior.
According to Barua, his son often came home late at night in an intoxicated state, causing chaos and using abusive language. The victim’s brother confirmed that these frequent outbursts deeply affected their father, who struggled to cope with the constant misbehavior.
On the night of the incident, the victim returned home drunk and began verbally abusing Barua. Unable to tolerate it any longer, Barua, in a moment of anger, grabbed a machete and fatally stabbed his son.
The incident has left the family in shock and the district in disbelief as authorities investigate further into the circumstances surrounding the crime.
