Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a father-son duo was allegedly injured after unidentified miscreants attacked inside their home in Biswanath district of Assam on Sunday night.
The incident took place in Gohpur of the district.
The injured persons have been identified as 50-year-old Pratap Das and his son 18-year-old Rahul Das.
According to reports, unidentified criminals broke into Pratap Das’ residence late at night and attacked the father-son duo while they were sleeping.
Both the father and the son are receiving medical care at the Lakhimpur Medical College.
Reportedly, Pratap Das is in a very critical condition.
Meanwhile, the police officials have launched an inquiry into the incident and have registered a case.
