Guwahati, 29th January: In a sensational incident, a fire erupted at the base of an oil tanker in Silchar on Monday, triggering panic among the local residents.
The incident occurred in Tarapur of the city.
Upon receiving information, fire brigade and police from Tarapur police station arrived at the spot.
Efforts to extinguish the flames were initiated by the fire brigade, and after a concerted attempt, the fire was successfully brought under control.
