Assam: Fire Engulfs House in Jagun Amid Ram Temple Celebrations
Guwahati, 22nd January: Amidst the nationwide celebrations of Lord Ram’s ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ a massive fire erupted in Assam’s Jagun, consuming an entire house and causing damages worth lakhs.
The incident occurred on January 22 during the Ram Temple consecration celebrations, where a major fire broke out in the rented accommodation of Dinesh Mahato, comprising 6 rooms.
Despite calling the fire brigade, the fire tender failed to arrive on time, leading to frustration among the local residents.
Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or injuries in the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation has been initiated to uncover the reasons behind the incident.
