Guwahati: At least five people died and three got injured in a road accident in Assam’s Darrang district on Sunday.
According to reports, the incident took place at the Marigaon road where a truck collided with a swift desire. In the incident, five persons in the car died on the spot while three of the passengers got severely injured.
It was further reported that the injured persons were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
