Assam Flood: Mukesh Ambani Donates Rs 25 Crores to CM’s Relief Fund
Guwahati: Mukesh Ambani, an Indian business magnate and the chairman of Reliance Industries has donated Rs 25 lakhs to the CM relief fund for the Assamese citizens impacted by the floods, together with his youngest son Anant Ambani.
This was announced by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on his official twitter account.
Taking to twitter, the chief minister wrote, “My deepest gratitude to Shri Mukesh Ambani & Shri Anant Ambani for standing with the people of Assam at this crucial juncture by donating Rs 25 cr to CM Relief Fund. We appreciate this kind gesture. This will go a long way in augmenting our flood relief measures.”

Earlier, the CM relief fund received contributions from Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor, Rohit Shetty, and Sonu Nigam totalling Rs 5 lakhs. In contrast, music producer Bhushan Kumar also contributed Rs 11 lakhs to help Assamese flood victims.
