Assam: Flying Squad Seizes Rs 2.5 Lakh in Raid at Chhagalia, Dhubri

Guwahati, 24th April: In a recent operation, the flying squad conducted a raid at Chhagalia in Dhubri, resulting in the seizure of Rs 2.5 lakh from an individual identified as Prasenjit Chakraborty.

The joint operation, involving flying squads and the police, was initiated when a four-wheeler with the registration number WB-64V/7784 was intercepted while traveling from West Bengal to Dhubri.

Prasenjit Chakraborty, whose residence is located in Ward No. 2 of Bihar in West Bengal, was in possession of the confiscated sum.

Details regarding the circumstances leading to the seizure and any potential charges against Chakraborty have not been disclosed yet.
