Assam: Former Nagaon SP Leena Doley summoned for questioning by CBI In Junmoni Rabha’s Death Case

Guwahati, 7th October: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigators are intensifying their probe into the suspicious death of Assam Police sub-inspector Junmoni Rabha.

On October 7, they summoned Superintendent of Police Leena Doley, known for her controversial past, to appear for questioning in Nagaon.

The investigative agency is set to interrogate several other high-ranking police officials as well.

Last Wednesday, a CBI team recovered Junmoni Rabha’s mobile phone from her severely damaged S-Presso car during an operation in Jakhalabandha.

They continued their investigation on Thursday, conducting tests on the damaged parts of the vehicle.

Notably, the deceased cop’s vehicle is being kept at the Jakhalabandha police station premises.

As part of their inquiry, the CBI also seized the Engine Control Module (ECM) from the S-Presso car. This move is aimed at determining the car’s speed at the time of the incident

Reports suggest that the CBI has summoned several other police officers to Nagaon for questioning. Additionally, the additional superintendent of police (ASP) from Lakhimpur, Runa Neog, has arrived in Nagaon as part of these developments.
