Guwahati: A girl was crushed to death on spot by a passenger train in Nagaon district of Assam on Tuesday.
The incident took place in the Samaguri village of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Meghna Bora.
According to police, the girl was most probably using earphones during her morning walk. As she was engrossed, she must have failed to notice an approaching train close to the railway station.
It needs to be mentioned that her mobile phone along with earphones were found beside her body.
