Assam Government Announces Construction of 100 Modern Schools Across 20 Districts

Guwahati, 17th March: The Assam state government has unveiled a groundbreaking project to build 100 schools across 20 districts, signaling a significant investment of Rs 300 crore. These schools are envisioned to serve as hubs of educational excellence, providing students with ample opportunities to thrive in their academic pursuits.

Equipped with modern amenities, the new schools will feature spacious classrooms, cutting-edge technology-enabled learning environments, and advanced science laboratories. Furthermore, extensive libraries, communal spaces, and access to safe drinking water will be prioritized to ensure an optimal learning atmosphere.

In line with the government’s commitment to gender equality, separate restroom facilities for girls and boys will be incorporated into each school’s design. Additionally, attention to detail will extend to furnishings and landscaped courtyards, enhancing both comfort and aesthetics.
