Guwahati, 20th September: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has revealed a new scheme called ‘Mukhya Mantri Atmanirbhar Asom’ to provide financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh each to young individuals for self-employment. This scheme aims to support two lakh youths in the state, and the registration process will commence on September 23-24.
During a video conference with senior officials, Chief Minister Sarma emphasized that this scheme would empower and promote self-reliance among the state’s youth. The program is set to make a significant impact on Assam’s aspiring entrepreneurs.
