Assam Government Launches E-Khazana Platform for Hassle-Free Land Revenue Payments

Northeast Desk, 7th October: In a move aimed at streamlining land revenue payments and making the process more user-friendly, the Assam government has launched the e-Khazana platform. This digital platform allows Pattadars (landowners) to pay their land revenue securely and efficiently, eliminating the need for long queues and delays.

The launch of e-Khazana is part of Assam’s ongoing efforts to modernize and simplify its revenue collection systems. The platform enables instant payments through QR codes or via the official website, ensuring that landowners can manage their payments from the comfort of their homes.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Assam Chief Minister’s Office announced:
“Pattadars can now conveniently pay their land revenue by scanning the QR code or by visiting https://basundhara.assam.gov.in/ekhazana. This user-friendly system enables secure, efficient, and instant payments, eliminating the need for queues and delays.”

To further simplify the process, the government has issued clear guidelines:

  1. Scan the QR Code – Pay your land revenue in just seconds using your mobile device.
  2. Visit the website – Landowners can also make payments at https://basundhara.assam.gov.in/ekhazana for a hassle-free experience.
  3. No queues, no delays – The platform allows land revenue to be paid anytime, anywhere.

The launch of e-Khazana is expected to significantly reduce the bureaucratic delays associated with land revenue payments, empowering citizens with a modern, efficient solution.
