Guwahati, 26th November: In a successful operation on November 26, the Government Railway Police (GRP) conducted a raid on the Vivek Express train at Bongaigaon railway station, resulting in the confiscation of significant quantities of illegally smuggled Agar sticks.
Acting on specific inputs, a team of GRP personnel, led by Sanjib Choudhury, the Officer-in-Charge of New Bongaigaon GRP conducted a search operation on the train.
The operation led to the seizure of a substantial amount of Agar sticks, and two individuals, Kabir Ahmed and Nurul Haque, were apprehended during the operation.
