Assam Governor Encourages Student Participation in ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue’
Guwahati: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya has urged higher educational institutions across the state to motivate students to participate in the upcoming ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue’.
Scheduled for January 11-12 in Delhi, the event aims to bridge the gap between young, politically unaffiliated individuals and the political landscape.
A key highlight of the dialogue is the ‘Viksit Bharat Challenge’, a competition comprising a quiz, an essay writing segment, and a vision deck development exercise. This challenge will provide a platform for students to showcase their knowledge of India’s growth and progress across various sectors.
Governor Acharya emphasized the role of educational institutions in fostering leadership and innovation. “Institutions are the breeding grounds for ideas and leaders,” he said, urging students to seize the opportunity to explore the diverse avenues offered by the dialogue.
To encourage maximum participation, the Governor has requested institutions to organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and orientation sessions to inform students about the benefits of the event. Institutions with significant student participation will be recognized and awarded by Raj Bhavan.
