Guwahati: The Government of Assam on February 9, issued promotion and posting orders of seven senior IPS officers across the state causing a minor bureaucratic reshuffle.
Siddhartha Kumar Buragohain, IPS (RR-2014), Additional Superintendent of Police (Border), Darrang is allowed to hold Charge Post in the rank of SP/CO/AIGP/DCP and is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operation), Police Commissionerate, Guwahati.
Pushkin Jain, IPS, (RR-2017), Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Nalbari is allowed to hold Charge Post in the rank of SP/CO/AIGP/DCP and is transferred and posted as Commandant, 4th APTF Bn, Howly, Barpeta
Mrigakhi Deka, IPS, (RR-2018), Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Rangia is promoted to Senior Time Scale of IPS in Level 11 in the Pay Matrix with effect from 01/01/2022 and is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, CDO Bn., Mandakata, North Guwhati in Senior Time Scale in Level 11 in the Pay Matrix against existing vacancy.
