Assam Govt To Generate 10,000 jobs By January 2023
Guwahati: The state government aims to provide 1 lakh positions in various departments for unemployed people. The recruitment procedure will be conducted with the utmost fairness and transparency.
The Assam government which is working toward this objective has once more provided some good news for the youth who are unemployed.
A new advertisement for 10,000 posts will go up in January 2023, at the start of the new year.
The media was informed by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma that the advertisement for these 10,000 positions would be released by January 15.
A meeting will be held today to discuss the creation of new departments, including forest battalions, to fill these 10,000 positions.
Sharma further stated that the 80,000 recruiting process out of the 1 lakh recruitment process has been finished while visiting the Pandu-Kamakhya route in Guwahati.
The chief minister Sharma stated that the hiring procedure for the final 20,000 positions will be finished in the following three to four months.
Earlier, the Assam chief minister attacked some groups that claimed Silchar candidates performed poorly on government exams, saying that Silchar came in second place to Guwahati in terms of candidates who were successful in landing jobs.
“Several organisations in Barak valley called off a Barak Bandh as a mark to protest the failure of students in the state government conducted exams,” said Sarma while speaking to the media after the cabinet meeting.
“This is an insult to the meritorious students of the Barak Valley, as they have declared the entire world Barak Valley do not have meritorious students,” the CM added.
However, Sarma emphasised that the Silchar centre had the highest percentage of students who passed the test after Guwahati demonstrating the accuracy of the data.
“All over Assam the first position was Guwahati followed by Silchar,” he added.
