Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday announced that the state government had decided to raise the pay of master roll employees, casual workers, and work-charge employees, ensuring that they would receive more financial benefits.
It should be noted that the casual employees have been demanding a pay increase of at least 3% every year.
While addressing to media, Sarma said, “Today we have decided to increase the salary of the casual employees by 3 per cent.”
With this announcement, more than 13,000 casual workers, master roll and work charges will profit.
