Assam Govts Mega Recruitment Ceremony, Around 45,000 Selected Candidates to Get Appointment Letters
Guwahati, 25 May: Assam government is moving towards providing jobs to one Lakh youths in the state. On this occasion, job placement letters were distributed to about 26,000 people last year. Appointment letters will be given to another 45,000 selected candidates today i.e. on May 25.
Government of Assam is organizing a mega recruitment ceremony at Khanapara today. The state government will hand over appointment letters to 44,703 candidates at the event to mark the second anniversary of the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma government. Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and many other ministers will be present on the occasion. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will come to Assam on Thursday and attend the Assam government’s appointment ceremony.

The proceedings for the event will begin at 12 noon on Thursday. Disabled candidates will be able to enter the event held at the veterinary college ground through gate 1. Candidates have to reach within 2.30 pm. The recruitment ceremony will begin at 5pm.
It is to be noted that it has been made mandatory for candidates to carry identity cards with them. They will have to carry the pass mark sheet, admit card of the exam. Their guardians will be able to come with each candidate. There will also be provision of drinking water for all the candidates.
