Assam: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly molested by her 44-year-old grandfather, Prakash Lama, in Margherita Co-District.
The disturbing incident occurred at Namdang Colliery, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Margherita Police Station.
According to reports, the accused, Prakash Lama, took advantage of his granddaughter’s parents’ absence to repeatedly molest her.
Following the heinous act, the Margherita Police arrested Prakash Lama last night.
Local residents are demanding strict punishment for the accused.
