Assam: Heroin worth Rs 105 crore Seized by Cachar Police
Guwahati, 19th May: In a significant operation, the Cachar Police successfully intercepted a consignment of heroin valued at ₹105 crore. The operation, targeting drug trafficking, led to the confiscation of 10.333 kilograms of heroin being transported from a neighboring state.
Expressing satisfaction and dedication to the cause, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter, stating, “Imagine the countless lives saved through this seizure. We are committed to working 24/7 to ensure our youths do not fall into this trap.”
