Assam: Historic Moment Unfolds in Guwahati as CM Declares End to 500-Year-Old Slavery
Guwahati, 22nd January: In a significant event on January 22, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, attending the live telecast of the Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ambari, Guwahati, proclaimed the dawn of a new era, marking the end of a 500-year-old period of subjugation.
Addressing the media post-programme, CM Sarma expressed, “The 500-year-old slavery has concluded, showcasing the limitless possibilities within India. Under the guidance of PM Modi, a new dawn has emerged, and I am confident that ‘Ram Rajya’ will commence today, leading India to become ‘vishwa guru.'”
Commending Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sarma attributed the transformative moment to Modi’s leadership, foreseeing the inception of ‘Ram Rajya’ in India and the nation’s ascent to ‘vishwa guru’ status.
January 22 witnessed a historic juncture as the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual unfolded, with PM Modi leading the proceedings and revealing the face of Ram Lalla. The sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple reverberated with the sanctity of the ceremony, with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat standing alongside the Prime Minister.
