Assam HSLC Exam Results 2022: Raktotpal Saikia bags 1st rank from North Lakhimpur
Guwahati: North Lakhimpur’s Raktotpal Saikia took first place in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination which was announced on Tuesday (June 7).
Raktotpal secured 1st position from St. Mary’s High School, North Lakhimpur with 597 marks.
The Assam Board of Secondary Education administered the HSLC 2022 test, which was passed by 2,29,131 students.
A total of 4,05,582 students took the HSLC exam this year, with 64101 students passing in the third division, 99854 in the second division, and 65176 students passing in the first division.
The pass rate is currently at 56.49 percent.
Boys outperformed girls in the HSLC exam, with 62.91 percent of girls passing and 69.93 percent of boys passing.
The second rank is secured by Bhuyashi Medhi from Little Flower School, Nalbari followed by three students at the third rank Mridupaban Kalita from Don Bosco High School, Kheroni (Karbi Anglong) , Labeeb Muzib from Don Bosco HS School, Boiragimath (Dibrugarh) and Partha Pratim Das from Lohit Dikrong HS School, Bihpuria (Lakhimpur).
Dima Hasao had the best results among the districts, with 81.31 percent of students passing the region followed by Sivasagar with 81.71 percent.
Chirang was the district with the lowest test pass rate, at 34.27 percent, followed by Hojai with 37.29 percent.
