Assam HSLC Examinations 2024 Dates Announced: February 16 to March 4
Guwahati, 9th October: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), has officially declared the schedule for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations in 2024. The examinations are scheduled to commence on February 16 and will conclude on March 4.
In preparation for these exams, the practical examination phase is set to begin on February 2, leading up to the theory examination commencement on February 16.
The routine for the HSLC exam:

Notably, SEBA recently introduced Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets for answering objective-type questions in the upcoming HSLC examinations, which are slated to be held in February 2024.
In accordance with SEBA’s directive to the Inspector of Schools (AII), 50 percent of the total marks in core subjects, including English (CI), General Mathematics (C2), General Science (C3), and Social Science (C4), will consist of objective-type questions, each carrying one mark. A single OMR sheet will be allocated to each candidate for these questions.
For the remaining 50 percent of questions, candidates will receive separate answer scripts containing 16 pages, maintaining a similar format to previous examinations.
SEBA’s announcement of the examination schedule and the introduction of OMR sheets aims to streamline and enhance the assessment process for HSLC students in Assam.
