Assam: Indian Army Boosts Digital Literacy in Rural Tinsukia with Upgraded IT Lab
Tinsukia—The Spear Corps of the Indian Army has upgraded the IT lab at Mamorani Prathmik Vidyalaya in Tinsukia district, Assam, as part of its efforts to promote digital literacy and empower local youth.
The initiative, implemented under Operation Sadbhavna, aims to bridge the digital divide in rural areas and foster skill development.
The upgraded lab is equipped with modern computers, providing students with access to quality digital education and essential technological tools. “The children were overjoyed to witness the introduction of digital learning in their remote village, which has faced challenges due to decades of insurgency,” the official release stated.
