Guwahati, 1st October: In a tragic incident, an injured one-horned rhino that was previously spotted in Kaliabor tea garden passed away on October 1.
Reports indicate that the rhino’s carcass was recovered on the grounds of Kaliabor Manor Resort in Silghat.
It has come to light that approximately two months ago; the injured rhino had strayed from Kaziranga National Park and had been residing near Silghat Tea Garden, seeking shelter and sustenance.
Allegations have arisen that the injured rhino had not received any medical attention for its injuries and, and today succumbed to injuries.
