Assam: Intoxicating tablets worth over Rs 32 lakh seized in Doboka, 2 held

Guwahati, 30th March: In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Assam Police seized a huge quantity of contraband tablets from Hojai district of Assam.

Police officials also arrested two youths from Doboka town in connection with the case.

The youths have been identified as Faiz Uddin and Mehboob Alam.

During the operation, the police seized 6,400 intoxicating tablets from their possession.

Moreover, the market value of the seized tablets was worth Rs 32 lakh and was meant for illegal sale and consumption.

It needs to mention that arrestees have being interrogated for further information and that a case had been registered against them under relevant sections of the law.
