Assam: Investment Agreements Worth ₹2050 Crore Unveiled by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Guwahati, 15th March: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has revealed significant investment agreements totaling ₹2050 crore, expected to create over 6,000 job opportunities. This announcement is part of the state’s concerted efforts to drive economic growth and foster job creation, complemented by support for entrepreneurs through the CM Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan initiative.

Sarma’s announcement comes on the heels of his earlier forecasts regarding the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam. Expressing confidence in the BJP’s electoral prospects, particularly in crucial constituencies across the state, the Chief Minister highlighted the party’s anticipated substantial victories.

As per Sarma’s projections, BJP candidates are poised to clinch significant wins in constituencies like Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Kaziranga, and Nagaon. He predicted vote counts ranging from 3 to 4 lakh in Jorhat and Dibrugarh, with Kaziranga also expected to rally substantial support for the party. In Nagaon, the BJP is anticipated to secure between 50 thousand to 1 lakh votes.

Additionally, he highlighted the electoral prospects of specific candidates, including Sarbananda Sonowal, Tapan Gogoi, and Kamakhya Tasa, forecasting resounding victories and significant impacts from Tasa’s campaign.
