Guwahati 22nd April: The Jagiroad Congress experienced a significant setback as Block Congress Treasurer Pratim Gogoi decided to part ways with the party. Gogoi’s resignation from the Congress was swiftly followed by his immediate decision to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
