Guwahati, 2nd June: In a decisive action, Jamuguri Police have seized 2.8 kilograms of fake gold and apprehended seven individuals connected to the scam. The operation, targeting multiple locations based on intelligence inputs, uncovered 1.4 kilograms of counterfeit gold from two different sites.
The arrested suspects, including Matibur Rahman, Billal Hussain, and Rasidul Islam, were involved in the illicit trade of fake gold.
