Assam: Kamrup Metropolitan District Hosts Vibrant “Har Ghar Tiranga” Bike and Car Rally Ahead of Independence Day

Guwahati, 13th August: In anticipation of India’s 78th Independence Day, the Kamrup Metropolitan district in Guwahati has ramped up preparations with a spirited bike and car rally under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. The event, held with active participation from the district administration, police, and state transport department, is aimed at instilling a deep sense of patriotism among the residents.

Sumit Sattawan, the Kamrup Metropolitan District Commissioner, highlighted the significance of the rally as part of a larger government initiative to promote national pride. “This bike and car rally aligns with the government’s ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. For the past two years, we have been conducting similar programs annually. Today’s rally is a continuation of these efforts, with similar events taking place across various parts of Assam. The primary goal is to evoke a strong sense of national pride, encouraging everyone to proudly display the national flag on the 15th of August,” Sattawan remarked.

The rally, one of many activities organized across Assam, reflects the widespread enthusiasm for the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. As the nation gears up for Independence Day, such initiatives are playing a crucial role in uniting citizens under the shared banner of patriotism, encouraging the display of the national flag in every home.
