Guwahati, 30th September: The Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve is set to reopen to tourists tomorrow, October 1, 2024, marking the beginning of the 2024-25 tourism season.

Park authorities are actively ensuring that all preparations are in place for a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors. With the expected influx of tourists, efforts are being made to accommodate their needs while maintaining the park’s natural beauty and wildlife.

The park is traditionally closed from May to October each year due to the risk of flooding from the Brahmaputra River. The reopening is anticipated to draw nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers eager to explore the rich biodiversity of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
