Assam: KLO (KN) Claims Responsibility for Grenade Incident

Guwahati, 10th December: The banned militant group Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) has asserted responsibility for the recent grenade attack in Dotoma, Kokrajhar district, on the evening of December 9.

In a press release, the KLO claimed its involvement in the attack.

According to sources, the grenade was discovered in front of a local shop owned by Somen Sarkar in Dotoma.

The initial discovery prompted a response from the police, who arrived at the scene.

Fortunately, the grenade did not detonate, resulting in no injuries. At present, the police are on-site, working to safely retrieve the unexploded grenade.
