Guwahati: A significant fire broke out on the night of November 10 at the Delask brick kiln in the Kaliganj region of Karimganj, causing widespread damage to multiple structures.
The incident was reported around 11 p.m., when alert local residents spotted the flames and promptly informed the fire department.
Three fire brigades responded swiftly, managing to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further, thereby averting a larger disaster.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far. Authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage and investigating the possible cause of the fire.
