Assam: Leopard caged in Golaghat district
Guwahati: A fully-grown leopard was captured in a cage in Golaghat district of Assam on Sunday.
The incident took place in the Kakoti Gaon village which comes under Betioni post office of the district.
According to reports, the leopard has terrorised the area by murdering a large number of domestic animals.
Around 13-14 leopards have been caged in the area, reports stated.
It may be mentioned that leopard sightings have been more common in the Betioni Kakatigaon, Naragaon, and Krishnagaon districts in the last two to three years.
