Guwahati: Assam reported 520 fresh cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
According to data released by the state National Health Mission (NHM), this brings the total number of active cases in the state to 6,032 and the positive rate was 6.41 percent.
Reportedly, 108 individuals have been treated and released from hospitals in the last 24 hours. One individual has died from the virus in the Tinsukia district.
Out of 8,112 tests in the previous 24 hours, the new cases today were discovered. Cachar (38), Dibrugarh (49), Kamrup Metro (39), Lakhimpur (35) and Baksa (32) have all reported new cases.
The overall Covid-19 case count was now 7,38,946 cases, while the entire amount of recovered data reached 7,24,898 cases.
And the recovery rate stood at 98.09 percent.
