Assam Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Cabinet Ministers Rally Support for Tapan Gogoi in Majuli

Guwahati, 5th April: Assam Cabinet ministers Ajanta Neog, Atul Bora, and Keshav Mahanta made a significant appearance in Majuli, arriving at Kamalabari Ghat via a special ferry from Nimati Ghat. Their visit was marked by a series of campaign meetings aimed at bolstering support for Tapan Gogoi ahead of the upcoming elections.

Minister Atul Bora exuded confidence in the development landscape of Assam and highlighted the lack of significant opposition in the state. He emphasized the positive impact of various government schemes, including Ayushman Bharat, on the people of Assam.

Ajanta Neog, focusing on grassroots engagement, conducted a series of election meetings in Pakajra, Bongaon, and Sriram panchayats. She highlighted the disillusionment of the populace with the Congress party and expressed confidence in the victory of their candidate, Tapan Gogoi.

Meanwhile, Atul Bora and Keshav Mahanta, after participating in an election meeting in Sriluhit panchayat, are scheduled to depart from Majuli, concluding their campaign efforts in the region.
