Guwahati, 26th April: The second phase of Lok Sabha elections commenced in Bokajan today, with polling stations opening at 7 am across 1,217 locations.
Dr. Nomal Momin, the Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly and MLA from Bokajan which falls under Diphu Lok Sabha constituency, cast his vote along with his wife at Dilaojan Jaljari Primary School.
The total electorate in the district is 9,01,032.
Notably, five candidates are contesting from the Diphu-ST seat.
