Assam: Major Drug Syndicate Busted in Kandigram, Two Arrested with Lakhs of YABA Tablets

Guwahati: In a significant blow to the illegal drug trade, Assam’s Sribhumi police have successfully dismantled a major drug syndicate operating within the Kandigram area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Badarpur Police Station.

The operation, executed based on reliable intelligence, resulted in the confiscation of a staggering 1.5 lakh YABA tablets and the apprehension of two individuals directly linked to the network.

The success of this operation was promptly acknowledged by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who took to his official social media platform to commend the efforts of the Sribhumi police.
