Assam: Major Fire Erupts in Kasaripeti, Bongaigaon District
Guwahati, 26th October: A devastating fire incident sent shockwaves through the community of Kasaripeti, located in block no III under the Barghola police station in Assam’s Bongaigaon district. The incident unfolded on the 25th of October, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
The fire reportedly originated at the residence of one Khusbor Ali. Preliminary reports suggest that the family suspects an electrical short circuit as the likely cause of the blaze. It was within the kitchen that the fire initially broke out, swiftly engulfing other parts of the house.
The inferno resulted in the loss of property valued at lakhs of rupees. Fortunately, the swift response and cooperation of local residents played a pivotal role in preventing the flames from causing even greater damage.
