Assam: Major Seizure of Suspicious Petroleum Product in Dibrugarh
Guwahati, 5th May: In a collaborative effort led by Circle Inspector (CI) Moran of the Dibrugarh District Police, working alongside Officer-in-Charge (OC) Barbaruah Police Station, In-charge (IC) Lepatkata Outpost, and their respective teams, a significant seizure of 350 litres of a suspicious petroleum product was made. The operation, prompted by credible intelligence, targeted a TATA Tigor vehicle with registration number AS-04V8513.
Law enforcement personnel, through their coordinated efforts, successfully apprehended one individual in connection with the seizure.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the nature and origin of the confiscated petroleum product to determine its legality and potential implications.
